2024ൽ ഗവർണർമാരുടെ സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ കേരള ഗവർണർ രാജേന്ദ്ര വിശ്വനാഥ് ആർലേക്കറാണ് പേര് മാറ്റം നിർദേശിച്ചത്. ലഫ്റ്റനന്റ് ഗവർണർമാരുടെ ഔദ്യോഗിക വസതിയായ രാജ്നിവാസിന്റെ പേരും മാറി ‘ലോക്നിവാസ്’ എന്നാകും
