മുന്‍ ഐഎസ്ആര്‍ഒ ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ ഡോ. കെ കസ്തൂരിരംഗൻ അന്തരിച്ചു. 84 വയസായിരുന്നു. ബെംഗളൂരുവിലെ വസതിയിൽ ഇന്ന് രാവിലെയായിരുന്നു അന്ത്യം.

1994 മുതൽ 2003 വരെ 9 വർഷം ഇസ്രോയുടെ മേധാവിയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. പിന്നീട് 2003 മുതൽ 2009 വരെ രാജ്യസഭാ എംപിയായി. പദ്മവിഭൂഷൻ പുരസ്കാരം നൽകി രാജ്യം ആദരിച്ച ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞൻ.
