മട്ടന്നൂർ :കണ്ണൂര്‍ വിമാനത്താവളത്തില്‍ ഹജ്ജ് ക്യാമ്പ് കായിക- ഹജ്ജ് വഖഫ് വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വി. അബ്ദുറഹിമാന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ഇത്തവണ ഹജ്ജിന് പോകുന്നതിന് 17883 പേരാണ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടത്.

ഇതില്‍ 7279 പേര്‍ സ്ത്രീകളാണ്. ആദ്യ വിമാനം ശനിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 5.55ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു. കേരളത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഹജ്ജ് ഹൗസ് കണ്ണൂരില്‍ അടുത്ത ഹജ്ജ് തീര്‍ത്ഥാടന കാലത്തോട് യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യം ആകുമെന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതായും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
